Steadfast Allies of the

Canadian Armed Forces
At the Service of

Our Military Clients

The Corporation du Fort St-Jean is the manager of Fort Saint-Jean, a property of the Department of National Defence.

Two key military training units operate there: the Royal Military College Saint-Jean and the Chief Warrant Officer Robert Osside Profession of Arms Institute.

We ensure the

well-being of resident military personnel.

Nearly 350 officer and naval cadets reside on the site for a duration of 2 to 5 years. They are joined by around 1,500 non-commissioned officers, who are deployed throughout the year for short training stays, as well as about fifteen military families occupying the PMQs. The Corpo team ensures that each of them feels at home.

Personalized Welcome

A bilingual team is stationed at the information desk to welcome, guide, and respond to the questions and the needs of residents. We also offer a parcel reception service.

Unwavering Security

Our agents ensure a secure presence 24/7. They continuously monitor the grounds, buildings, and fire safety systems. The site is equipped with video surveillance, a high-performance loudspeaker, and a smart digital key system.

Exceptional Cuisine

Residents enjoy three freshly prepared meals daily, seven days a week. The Corpo’s chefs have designed a thoughtfully crafted cyclic menu that caters to the nutritional needs of youth while showcasing the finest Quebec products. The kitchen adheres to the highest standards of hygiene at all times.

Comfortable Accommodations

Whether it’s the 14 PMQs, the 336 student residence rooms, or the 8 rooms in the Old Mess, including 2 VIP rooms, all housing at Fort Saint-Jean is fully renovated, functional, and perfectly maintained for the utmost comfort of the occupants.

Relaxation and Social Life

We provide young people with friendly living and relaxation spaces, such as residence lounges or the officer cadet Mess, all recently renovated. Our team also organizes a variety of activities and initiatives to enrich their social lives on-site, including themed evenings, package delivery services and much more.

Our Concern

The Success of Military Trainees

We are committed to supporting the success of individuals who come to the site for training.

Modern and Functional Facilities

In partnership with the RMC Saint-Jean teams, we create teaching, study, and training spaces tailored to the site’s military training mission. Focusing on key areas of the officer cadet’s journey, we prioritize classrooms, the sports center, library, auditoriums, computing facilities and science labs.

Agile Operational Support

The RMC Saint-Jean has enlisted our operational support services to ensure the logistical success of certain on-site activities, such as conferences, protocol events, the graduation parade, and the obstacle course. We are also responsible for providing information technology support and chartering the hundreds of transports required each year.

Effective Planning

Our commercial activities and site maintenance as well as renovation work are carefully scheduled to align with the academic calendar, minimizing any impact on students.

Proud to Support the CAF

Our Distinctive Commitment

We are proud to serve the CAF in Saint-Jean-sur-Richelieu, a garrison town. We make it our duty to contribute to the trust and respect existing between the local population and the military deployed in the region.

SHOWCASING RMC SAINT-JEAN

We highlight the activities and achievements of military students to the public, sharing information and invitations through the media and our social networks.

CREATING CONNECTIONS

We seize every opportunity to allow the people of Saint-Jean to meet members of the Armed Forces through initiatives we organize or participate in, both on-site and in the community.

CELEBRATING MILITARY PRIDE

The civilian population we welcome on site encounters numerous artifacts and monuments that highlight the CAF and commemorate a part of our military history.
