Strategic Partner of the Department of National Defence

Our distinctive signature

Stewardship in action

Like a conscientious owner, the Corporation cares for the site and its users, carefully balancing their interests.

With our expertise in property management and an intrinsic understanding of the operations that take place at RMC St-Jean, we approach renovation, commercialization, and support for military training with a comprehensive, embracing perspective. We anticipate needs with agility, plan projects efficiently, and adjust priorities as necessary, always prioritizing the military imperatives that take precedence.

We support several strategic issues of the DND

  • Cultural change within the CAF (Well-being, safety, and socialization of officer cadets)
  • Visibility of the military community (Activities in the local community, social networks)
  • Recruitment and asset maintenance (Hospitality, integration and well-being of military personnel and their families)
  • CAF interoperability (Public safety exercise practices, such as the simulation of an active shooter in 2023)
Tangible Benefits

A Unique Business Model

The Corporation is a not-for-profit organization. Responsible for marketing the facilities, it engages in strategic commercial activities while always prioritizing military trainings. All profits are reinvested into the site, thereby reducing the public investment required for its upkeep.

CIVIL AND MILITARY LINKS

BUILDING BRIDGES BETWEEN COMMUNITIES

The 250 employees of the Corporation du Fort Saint-Jean reflect the diversity and strong connections between military students and the civilian community. Their efforts create numerous opportunities for interaction with the local population, fostering a sense of pride and socialization among the students. In this way, the CFSJ plays a key strategic role in supporting the cultural transformation occurring within the Canadian Armed Forces.
